In fact, our First Congress, in reenacting the Northwest Ordinance as 1 Statute 50, explicitly mandated that Religion and Morality be taught in schools, declaring them essential to the continuance of the Republican form of Government that our Forefathers had so carefully gifted to posterity.
The stakes could not be higher. If these trends continue unchecked, “liberty and justice for all”—the phrase rooted in our Biblical and constitutional inheritance- will become an empty slogan. Sharia-influenced norms in family law, speech restrictions, and the subordination of civil authority could expand in pockets of our society. Communist-style division and woke orthodoxy already suppress dissent in our institutions.
This is the internal subversion our forefathers warned against. The same pulpits that once fueled the Revolution with Biblical conviction must rise again. The same spirit that produced the Black Robe Regiment and the prayer of the Continental Congress must be revived.
The choice is binary and urgent. We can continue surrendering to this merged ideological assault- secular humanism’s open-society experiment enabling woke- communist division and Islamic expansion- or we can return with conviction to the God of our fathers and the Christian constitutional Republic He inspired.
